Welcome to Cut the Middleman, the website that helps property owners sell their property quickly, easily and most importantly without any estate agents fees! Cut the Middleman also helps buyers find property anywhere across the UK without any fuss, dealing directly with the vendors.

I wanted to take this opporunity to tell you about us and why Cut the Middleman was formed.

I found a property I wanted to buy that was just out of my financial reach. I worked out that the estate agent fees were the difference between what the vendor would take and what I could afford. So I set out to contact the vendor (who lived abroad) directly, hoping to agree a deal by cutting out the estate agent. Doing my research I spoke to a local shop owner and when I explained why I wanted to contact the vendor directly his response was 'don't worry I understand perfectly, I can't stand estate agents either'. It struck me then that so many people were unhappy with the service from estate agents. At that moment I had the idea to provide a website where sellers could sell their properties for a one off affordable fee and buyers could find properties nationwide dealing directly with straight forward vendors.
